I agree 100%. I'm also very intuitive, and although I knew my best friend's dad would not survive an accident, it was certainly not my place to tell her!

I have violated this policy only once. Another good friend asked me to read and tell her whether her unborn child would be a boy or a girl. She was terrified of having a boy. I considered her request very carefully, but my intuition told me it would be all right. The cards said that indeed she was carrying a boy, but a boy with such a gentle spirit that her lifelong issues with men would undergo some healing.

Would I ever do it again? Doubtful. But this one time it felt right to do so.

I think that Aaron says it all very well! It is very wise to tell that person to visit her doctor, or buy the pregnancy test, and go from there. Giving out medical advice when one is not qualified to do is opening a big can of worms!

I think that question is about as silly as asking someone to pull cards to see if it's raining outside.

A better question might be "Why am I afraid to go buy a pregnancy test?"
